Aretés (IT) is structured as a private research and planning center. Since 1999, he has developed a specific expertise in research, planning and communication, proposing participative intervention methods and solutions characterized by the logic of innovation. Aretès is a network of professionals dedicated to the design and application of innovative solutions to the problems of public and private organizations involved in social and socio-health, employment, and local development. The new frontiers of Aretés are those of social innovation, fundraising and social web, which are synthesized in the new European projects presented by Aretès in Europe and which concern the effective and efficient use of new technologies within organizations public and private.
Spanish NGO, pioneers since 2001 in the social use of technologies to generate social innovation and digital empowerment through citizen participation and technological volunteering. The Foundation counts on a network around Spain of 1.500 Cybervolunteers and around 500 grassroots organizations of different collectives at risk of social or digital exclusion. With this wide network we are experts in performing researches, pilots and focus groups in different areas, always involving ICTs as a means to reach the objectives.
DAFNI KEK is a Life long Learning Institution active as an adult education provider and research for social initiative center in the broader area of Achaia Prefecture. Our vision is to offer educational opportunities that reply to the needs of our target groups, who experience various barriers to learning due to cultural, social and financial deficits and additional systemic prejudices. We believe that the role of the educators and staff is crucial to face these challenges, to assist in social change and provide a basis for mutual cooperation and Education for All.
Intercultural communication and awareness consist the focus of our learning interventions by bringing in contact groups and individuals from the broader community milieu. DAFNI KEK applies learning courses in alliance to other local institutions (CYCLISIS and LPfA) to whom keeps vital interrelation in favor of diversity of learning plans and individual paths to participation. The institution applies also self reflection strategies, in order to transform its services and opportunities in line with the needs and challenges occur, connecting the local with the global reality. Within all these cooperations we try to involve our learners in the critical involvement and lifelong learning culture. Always new frames, new environments and ideas come to make them more motivated to continue being with us in this fascinating learning route – Making the New European Agenda, the DigitSkills and the Upskilling Pathways a reality in all localities – the remote included in our core strategy.
EOI Do Mundo Lume is a public language school located in Ayamonte, a picturesque village on the coast of Huelva (Spain) neighbouring the famous Portuguese Algarve region. Tourism is one of the main industries in our region, as Ayamonte is an increasingly popular holiday destination for domestic and European tourists. In our school, we strive to offer quality language training in English, German, Portuguese and French for both general and specific purposes, so as to develop the employability of our students. We aim at providing continuing learning opportunities for those seeking to rejoin the labour market, as there is an increasing demand for qualified professionals with good communication skills who can cater for foreign customers’ needs and expectations.
Studio ERRESSE is a cooperative society operating from 1999 at Naples, Italy. We offer consultancy, specific formation and research services to single users, non-profit entities, small and medium enterprises and public bodies involved in the management of social, educative and socio-cultural services.
We use an integrated approach that mixes the economic, legal, sociological and managerial competences of our staff and focuses on people, groups, relationships and local contexts as the objects of our work.
We work with “third sector” organisations to re-design existing services and plan the offer of new services that could better respond to the emerging needs of society both in terms of people and local context.
We believe the current system has underestimated monitoring and evaluation activities, not seen as fundamental phases to increment the quality of services, and for this reason makes a fragmented and occasional use of them in the management of the working processes.
We offer consultancy in the management of Monitoring and Evaluation processes of both projects and services. Depending on the needs of the beneficiaries, our activity focuses on creating Monitoring and Evaluation services, new specific Monitoring and Evaluation instruments, active and operative management of the Monitoring and Evaluation activities during the implementation of projects.
The University of Patras (UPAT), which was founded in the city of Patras in 1964, is the third largest Greek University in terms of academic staff and number of students. It comprises 32 academic departments, which offer a wide range of undergraduate and research-based postgraduate degrees, and operate 112 Laboratories and 15 Clinics, fully equipped. The University of Patras has over 35,000 undergraduate and almost 4,000 postgraduate students. It enumerates over 720 of faculty members, 146 of teaching staff, and over 450 administrative personnel. The Association for Education and Sustainable Development (AESD) is an educational centre whose goal is to promote lifelong learning in society in order to facilitate the growth of active citizenship, increased social cohesion and higher levels of employment for all age groups. The association´s activities are:
- the implementation of formal and informal lifelong education courses,
- building an organized system of consulting throughout its region,
- the management and provision of information and training.
One of the key activities of the association is the on-going analysis of the needs of the region and the structuring and establishing of a network of local centres for distance learning. It pursues this strategy to ensure that quality education provision can be easily accessed in even the most disadvantaged areas. The association compliments the mainstream educational network offering more flexible, individually tailored and market-focussed courses for the lifelong learning of adults. One of the goals of the association is to give marginalized young adults access to lifelong learning and to provide job experience in order to help them obtain permanent, long-term employment. The city of Calarasi, where AESD is based, is one of the least developed regions of Romania.
The Cpia is an Autonomous institution of the MIUR (Ministry of Education University and Research), divided into territorial networks, which carries out the training offer for adults and young people not in possession of the final educational qualification of the first cycle of education or who do not have discharged compulsory education. The CPIA is endowed with a specific organizational and didactic structure, has its own staff, collegial bodies like the other educational institutions.
The Cpia Napoli city 1 offers education service in 7 Municipalities of the City Council, in the prevention and punishment institutions of Secondigliano and in the Juvenile Criminal Institute of Nisida. It carries out activities aimed at achieving basic skills for social inclusion and active citizenship, teacher training activities on issues related to digitization and orientation.
